Let's get lost together ..

123456789 10 ready or not here I come!!

At the risk of aging myself, who here knows what that was all about?  Who has played it?
Well, I personally, think that it's an ageless game.  For kids/adults/everyone.   It's the most fun when you're in a forest, and... you're wearing green and..you tie your hair back and ... No one can find you.... Ever....
Wow.. They really can't find me??? Ummmmm.. It's kinda lonely out here....
where is everybody...
Hellooooo.....don't you know you didn't find me yet????
I'm getting scared....

Ok. It's not fun anymore 😩

Open Spaces

I have to tell you, I'm a window freak.  Yep, I love wiindows. I love big, w i d e, TALL, floor to cieling windows. The bigger the better. To me they are a gateway to natural light. A breath of fresh air. Space. Maybe this is because I'm  claustrophobic. Prepare yourselfs for this folks, I actually freak out in confined, tight spaces. Unless it's a wine cellar. Those are totally ok because..wine.
So yeah, claustrophobia. It's not fun. Let me say this, you wouldn't want to be with me in a packed elevator or a shopping mall Christmas Eve....
Anyways, windows. I think they're fabulous and I love them.

The Ultimate Getaway

I don't know about you but I love a weekend away.  There is something so exhilarating about a Friday after work, racing to leave the city and getting away from it all...
The thing is, you don't have to be rich to do it.  Just hop in the car, with a tent, tripod, camera, and eatable essentials (yes including wine) and off you go to explore.
I won't kid you here. I'm not really a camper type of gal, per say, but if I was, I would totally do it.  Obviously, massive numbers of pillows, a great mattress and of course.  my yummy silk duvet would definitely be a part of my camping ensemble.  As it is though, I don't really camp.
So, what is the ultimate getaway?  Well that depends on what you are looking to do really.
If you're on a limited budget, then perhaps hop into your car and head north.  No destination in mind, just drive.  Have you ever done that?  It's quite exciting.
This weekend took me to Muskoka in the north of Ontario.  This place is known around the globe (yes it actually is) as a hot spot to get away and indulge in the privacy of the lush green foliage that surrounds so many beautifully situated homes along the pristine Lake of Bays.
Lake of Bays is a township within the District of Muskoka in Ontario, Canada. I have to say, my favorite findings in my explorations there are the stunning natural landscapes of forests, rocks, lakes and wetlands.  So if you ever head out there, make sure you visit Arrowhead Park, where you will find some breathtaking trails... oh and FYI... beware of bears... no joke.  Now wouldn't the be amazing??
So... who wants to go to Muskoka?
